The project consists of a 22,000 SF metal building that will be their new gymnasium as well as construction of 10,000 SF of new classrooms that were constructed in the mezzanine of the building. HDC has helped to value engineer the mechanical system of the building to meet requirements, while reducing costs to meet the churches budget. HDC is also oversaw the Civil Engineer's site analysis to determine the sizing of the new retention pond. HDC worked with the water management district for permitting and finalizing the pond sizing for the site. The building consists of structural steel metal framing with the girders attaching to slab imbeds, metal panels and CMU exterior walls incorporating a metal building for the structural support of the exterior walls and the standing seam metal roof system
