- Combat Weapons Training Facility – Patrick Air Force Base, FL:
Harkins Development Corporation was awarded a Design/Build contract by the USACE, Mobile District for a 34,400 SF Combat Weapon Training Facility. The new Combat Weapons Training Facility will consist of a 12 point, 100 meter, fully contained firing range and range control booth for small arms training capable of accommodating both frangible and lead ammunition and range support facilities for training classroom, weapons maintenance, ammunition storage, weapons vault, latrines and administrative area. All work will comply with DoD, Air Force, State of Florida and OSHA policies and guidelines regarding firing range construction, environmental compliance and safety of personnel.
- Warrior in Transition Administrative Facilities – Fort Leonard Wood, MO:
Harkins Development Corporation was awarded a Design/Build contract by the USACE, Kansas City District for design and construction of a 7,000 SF Soldier Family Assistance Center (SFAC) and a 6,900 SF Company Headquarters (CoHQ) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The SFAC will provide supervised care and assist soldiers in personal adjustments. It will provide child care, financial assistance, meeting rooms, kitchenette, chaplain and other functions to accommodate both the soldier and their families. The CoHQ will provide administrative building functions to provide soldier mission directives and meet operational needs.

- Ft. Benning, Ga - Armor Officer Basic Course (AOBC) Battalion Headquarters and Covered Hardstand. Design Build project consists of a 12,000 SF 2 story building with a 7,000 SF stand alone covered hardstand. Includes the installation of intrusion detection system (IDS), connection of EMCS, antiterrorism measures and building information systems. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) to meet LEED Silver requirements.
- Macdill AFB, Tampa, FL - Harkins Development Corporation was awarded this project by the US Army Corp of Engineers, Mobile District. This is a design/build project for a Child Development Center that is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion on April 28, 2011 and will be LEED certified Silver. The project includes design and construction of two buildings one-story Child Development Centers. The project includes construction of an 18,310 SF building and a 22,042 SF building. The Child Development Centers consist of reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs, masonry walls, stucco exteriors, standing seam metal roofs, fire detection/suppression systems, HVAC, AT/FP measures and completed site development.
- Hurlburt Field, Fl – Harkins Development Corporation was awarded this project by the US Army Corp of Engineers, Mobile District. This is a design/build project that is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion on May 14, 2011 and will be LEED Certified Silver. The project includes design and construction of
a single story 22,317 SF concrete block Child Development Center at Hurlburt Field, FL. Project consists of concrete block with split faced brick and stucco with clerestory roof incorporating a sloping seam metal roof system. Project also includes full site development of a 7 acre site, paving and outdoor play equipment.
